This forge is in very good quality , came out of a metal working shop from a college and was not used that much still in very good shape. It does not have the lid as shown in one of the photos but should not be difficult to make if you were to still need it. tool dressing and shaprening in general voactional, agricultural and school shops. It also meets the needs of blacksmithing, industrial and farm applications of forging, bending and welding operations. Designed to keep the work area visable at all times to the operator, for prevention of burning and material waste.
