Wellcraft sunhatch 196 powerboat 19’

19 foot boat. Selling as is. Bought it from the owner for $1700. He took it to his property to hook it up to water to show us it would start up and he let it run for quite a while. We wanted to use this as an opportunity to get into boating (we have 0 experience) but haven’t had the time with a new baby, so it just sat in our driveway for the last few months. It needs a TON of work to make it look nice on the inside aesthetically speaking (Torn seats, old carpeting, etc) and the trailer and tires are ugly, pretty old/rusted but are doing the job and I don’t see why it wouldn’t be reliable in getting it to your property. We have NEVER owned a boat before and we have NEVER taken this boat out before so there’s not much I can guarantee as far as it’s condition and wouldn’t know what to look for. It has been sitting in our driveway for months however a friend (also not boat savy) asked to take it to the lake (two hours away) about four months ago. He took it out there but then ran the wrong liquid through it and clogged the carburetor (our best guess). He did have it out sitting on the water for three days though with no leaks or anything so that’s good right?! When we got it back from him we tried hooking it up to the hose again and it did turn on but not for very long due to the clog that needs to be cleaned. We have NOT taken it out on the water ourselves though which is why we are selling it this cheap and “as is” and cannot guarantee how it runs so I want to make that very clear in order to be very honest and upfront I do not want to mislead anyone in what they are getting into and at the same time I’m not sure what else to explain since I don’t know much about boats to begin with but I have lots of pictures posted here. Also, we moved the boat about a month ago for a birthday party and the trailer was still reliable at that time.
