This is a pool skimmer & basket that creates a great whirlpool suction that allows your skimmer to be more efficient in removing debris from your pool or spa. Unfortunately our pool pump is quite old and its flow rate is too low to create an effective whirlpool. So the item has been tried for about 30 minutes but not actually used. This skimmer basket requires a minimum of 25 GPM/gallons per minute to work. In-ground pools provide 60-90 GPM, unless your pool pump is 20 years old and on its last leg.
