Description

Overview: Up for sale is a beautiful etching, entitled "Snow Valley," by listed Pennsylvania artist, William MacLean. MacLean was a printmaker/cartoonist who published 25 etchings with the Associated American Artists between 1923 and 1947. He lived in New Hope, Pennsylvania. His prints document the rural winters and landscapes of the area. Pencil-signed at lower right and titled in pencil at lower left. It comes matted and framed under glass in a dark wood frame. Condition: Etching is in very good condition. Moderate toning. Matting shows moderate toning. Frame in very good condition with a few nicks. Measurements: Print measures approximately 11.75 inches wide x 9.5 inches high. Frame measures 21 inches wide x 18.75 inches high.
