Bicentennial quarters were commemorative coins issued by the U.S. Mint in 1975 and 1976 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the United States. These quarters featured a unique design on the reverse, depicting a colonial drummer and a victory torch, along with the dual date. BESSIE COLEMAN QUARTERS The Bessie Coleman quarter is part of the U.S. Mint's American Women Quarters™ Program, which celebrates the accomplishments of notable women in American history. Bessie Coleman was the first African American/ Native American woman to earn a pilot's license and also the first African American to earn an international pilot's license. The quarter was released in 2023 and features her on the reverse (tails) side, depicted as she prepares for flight. The "VOTO PARA LA MUJER (Votes for Women) quarter is part of the American Women Quarters Program featuring Nina Otero-Warren, a prominent figure in the New Mexican women's suffrage movement. This coin, released in 2022, commemorates her advocacy for women's voting rights. The LOWELL National Historical Park quarter, released in 2019, is the 46th coin in the U.S. Mint's America the Beautiful Quarters Program. It commemorates Lowell, Massachusetts, and its role in the Industrial Revolution, specifically highlighting the "Mill Girls" and their contributions to the textile industry. The design features a mill girl at a power loom, a bobbin battery, and a view of the Boott Mill clock tower, symbolizing the shift to an industrialized, "on the clock" time. Only one available! SALLY RIDE Quarter The Sally Ride quarter is a U.S. 25-cent coin featuring Dr. Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, on the reverse. It is part of the American Women Quarters Program and was released in 2022. The design depicts Dr. Ride next to a window on the space shuttle, inspired by her quote about looking at Earth from space. Last one available! These TWO Quarters are SOLD AS A SET: 15$ ONLY ONE AVAILABLE: CROSSING THE DELAWARE QUARTER The "Washington Crossing the Delaware" quarter is a commemorative coin issued by the U.S. Mint in 2021, marking the end of the America the Beautiful series and a transition to the American Women quarters program. It features General George Washington leading his troops across the Delaware River before the Battle of Trenton, a pivotal moment in the American Revolutionary War. The design includes John Flanagan's original obverse portrait of Washington, with a new reverse design by Benjamin Sowards. The coin commemorates Washington's daring crossing on December 25, 1776, which led to a surprise attack on British and Hessian forces at Trenton, New Jersey. This victory boosted American morale during a difficult period in the war. The reverse (tails) side of the quarter depicts Washington standing in a boat, pointing with his sword, while other soldiers row them across the icy river. A boat carrying troops, including one resembling future president James Monroe, is also featured, according to Coin Week. The obverse (heads) side of the coin features the original 1932 portrait of Washington by John Flanagan. The "Crossing the Delaware" quarter was a one-year type, meaning it was only produced for a single year. It served as a bridge between the America the Beautiful series and the American Women Quarters program, which began in 2022. The coin's design and its place as a transitional piece make it a popular collectible item, says Nationwide Coin & Bullion Reserve. The image of Washington crossing the Delaware has become a powerful symbol of courage, leadership, and the fight for freedom. SILVER QUARTER 1943 Minted during the Second World War, a time of great turmoil in the world, this coin holds historical significance.
