Bought this ramp to try and get my dog in the pool. Not really designed for rhar and my dog HATES the pool. Never been used. I did add soft grip material because reviews said it is slippery when wet. Just been sitting in my back yard. Supposed to be used to help small, injured, or older dogs get out of cars & trucks, etc. I saw one picture of somebody using it at a lake with their boat. It is lightweight but sturdy. Folds up easily.
