The MS1R is SSR’s iconic true 3-piece step-lip mesh design with deep roots in Japanese motorsport. SSR built the world’s first 3-piece wheel in 1971, and the Professor series is the modern evolution of that legacy. SSF semi-solid forged centers, HTM heat-treated inner barrels, and a wide range of disk types for brake clearance. Custom made to order in Japan with a 4–6 month lead time — this set is ready to go right now with no waiting. This specific set features aggressive custom specs — 17x9.5 (-12) front and 17x11.25 (+6) rear — previously on a Rocket Bunny Scion FR-S build. Medium disk front for brake clearance, Super Low disk rear for maximum lip depth on the 11.25" width. To complete this set properly, we sourced a full set of discontinued billet aluminum SSR Racing Center Caps (A-Type) directly from Japan. SSR wheels do not come with center caps from factory — always a separate purchase. These billet aluminum caps with real carbon fiber inlay are no longer in production and are getting harder to find.
