Description
The Webster arch-top all mahogany vintage guitar has all original parts and close to excellent condition. Tortoise binding on neck, top, and back. Original pick guard, tail piece, machine heads, and bridge. Brazilian flamed rosewood fingerboard, with very little use on the brass frets. The original finish has a few surface scratches, common on a guitar of this age. A neck re-set was recently done to insure low action and a long playing life ahead. The “Webster” was built by the Kay Musical Instrument Company, possibly in the fifties for Jimmie Webster, Gretch guitar innovator, hence the Webster name. The bottom bout is approximately fifteen inches wide, which gives the instrument a rich tone. Price: $800.00. Local pick up only
