Description

1999 Trainer Deck A Sandshrew in a Becket Graded Mint 9 slab. Open to trades taken in at a percentage. ➡️The trainer decks were some of Pokemon's first exclusive products and were not publicly sold! They are easily distinguished by their unique red lined backs and Trainer Deck stamped in red lettering in the middle. These decks were given out to pokemon leagues(almost exclusively toys-r-us store locations) to preview how the game would be played and get people interested in the concept of pokemon cards. These decks were played with heavily by kids and oftentimes without sleeves so having one in such well preserved condition is incredibly rare. BGS has authenticated this card but has no comprehensive population report and none have been listed online or sold publicly meaning this may very well be the only Beckett graded Mint copy of this card in existence, hence population of 1. The only thing it can be compared to is a PSA 9 and the lowest listed available for that is about $750 so I will be basing my price off of that.
