I used to run a car audio store for about 10 years and my wife's system was taken out of her vehicle about a month after I put it in as she got a new vehicle. She didn't want a sun in the new car because of the work she has to do and didn't want to damage anything while throwing stuff in her trunk. This sub was broken in properly and sounds amazing JL has the cleanest sound out of any subwoofer out on the market. These subwoofers are hand built in Miami Florida. If you ever get a chance you should go on a tour. It's amazing! If you look into this amplifier or online you will see this original slash series is very sought after as it is 1ohm stable. This amp is listed for anywhere from $100 not working just parts. To $250-$400 used in good working condition. The subwoofer is sold for $200-250 used and the box I can only find new for $169.99 so I think the price is very fair for what you are getting. You are basically getting the sub for $200 and the amp for $200 and the box for free and the subwoofer grill is free $20-$50 value. Please reach out with any questions.
