Description
This antique glass plate negative is a historic photograph from the late 1800s / early 1900s. The location is most likely in PA or NY. It captures a waterfront / lakeside landscape scene with a with people and boats, and a large building at the top of the hill. Waterfront & Promenade: A large body of water and a clear shoreline walkway or railing runs along the foreground bank. Architecture: On the upper-left hillside, a substantial multi-story building stands out. Based on its structure, it likely represents a historical hotel, estate, or institutional hall overlooking the water. Lush Foliage: Rich tree-line framing the far side of the water. Glass plate is approximately 5" × 4". It is in fair condition due to antique age.
