This is an absolutely gorgeous antique silver-plated gravy or sauce boat that would make an incredible addition to your dining table or silver collection. Estimated Age: Circa 1880 – 1920 The design is highly ornate, featuring elegant scrolling and floral motifs on the base and stand. The scrolled handle has a small floral detail at the top. This style suggests it is either Victorian (known for its love of ornate decoration) or possibly Art Nouveau (with its flowing, naturalistic lines). It sits on a separate, attached pedestal stand, which is designed to catch drips, keeping your linens clean and adding extra height and elegance to the presentation. The bright, polished silver has a lovely gleam that really catches the light. Excellent vintage condition. It has been polished and shines beautifully.
