This is a stunning original painting by F Michael Wood. This came from the private collection of Ina Stewart. It is called “The Conversation” and was purchased in 2008. This is the first time this piece is coming to market since then. This is a stunning painting by him on an 16x12 canvas. Very beautiful brushstrokes and use of color. Take a look at all the photos to see condition. Comes with COA and Original Receipt. Michael Wood was born in San Francisco in 1944. Preoccupied with drawing and painting since early childhood, he received his fine arts degree after extensive training both here and abroad. His artistry is the result of a lifetime absorbed in the gamut of visual arts disciplines. He has established a fluency in styles and techniques ranging from classical to contemporary. Wood is a member of the society of Western Artists. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and enjoys national recognition. Over the years, his work has taken him into the fields of commercial illustration, architectural rendering, teaching and back out again to the "fine art" painting that he really loves. Thus, resulting in numerous one man shows and awards, including the National "Arts for the Parks" Competition's "Top 100" and "Top 200." His subjects are equally diverse, painting seascapes, landscapes, portraits and wildlife with eclectic skill. The wildlife paintings by Michael Wood bind a naturalist's attention to detail to an artist's vision.
