Description

Ceriatone Muchle$$ Creme Brulee https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/h This is a scaled-down and slightly-tweaked take on the Matchless C-30: it is 15watts (instead of 30) and single-channel only, the EF86 channel. I am the original owner. I purchased the assembled amp chassis directly from Nik at Ceriatone in July, 2020. I had the cabinet custom made by Sour Mash Cabinets. The speaker is a brand-new Warehouse Guitar Speakers (WGS) Retro 30 (WGS's take on the Celestion Vintage 30). This amp is tube-rectified (GZ34/5AR4), has two preamp tubes (EF86 and 12ax7) and two power tubes (EL84). It's a great amp for home use and gigs: - hi/low power switch - 3-way "bright" switch - hi/low inputs - usable master volume Note: I did make one modification: originally, I found the master volume knob to be almost useless, as there was a very tiny range of useful home/bedroom volumes; above or below that it was either too quiet or too loud. I changed the master volume wiring such that it is way more useful. However, in doing this, I did remove the master volume "defeat" switch from the circuit. I went over my modification with Nik at Ceriatone before doing it, and he agreed with my modifications. I'm happy to share my correspondence with Nik with any serious buyers. The amp doesn't have a lot of play time on it. I basically used this amp as a stop-gap while I assembled another amp, and the one I built has since become my main amp. This one sounds great, but I can't justify keeping it and never playing it. As pictured, I'm including six extra vintage/NOS EF86 tubes and an extra 5AR4 rectifier tube.
