Antique Vintage Buffalo Hardware Company #2 Cast Iron Wood School Desk No 2 School Desk Made by Buffalo Hardware Company out of wood and cast iron, desk has groove for pens and ink well hole. Circa late 1800's, this Buffalo New York School Desk --- Outstanding piece of History. Elegant and Ornate cast iron legs that depict this era very well. Excellent iron Approx. Measurements: Desk top: 24”W x 14.75”D x 28"H Seat in front: 24.25”W x 12.75"D x 15”H Embossed in the ornate cast iron, on the one side: Buffalo Hardware Company 2. Other side, reads, Buffalo Hardware Co. and on the hinge it reads, New Paragon Patented 1881 Feb. 1 Aug. 2 Sep. 6. Fully functional condition ~ bench seat flips up Sturdy seat and/ or desk Wood seat and back are aged and have a fair share of deep marks and bruises from years of student wear.
