This company sold me a LEMON!!! I wasted $9k on a downpay and now a year later I’ll have to buy a new vehicle while still paying this off!!!

I purchased a 2017 Subaru WRX back in December 2023.. I originally left a 5 star review then for I was very satisfied with the service and vehicle I purchased! Little did I know this car had issues from within! First 3 months in… My clutch went out! I called Pristine the first time and texted & he emailed me info to my AUL coverage but told me not to have high expectations because it was a mechanical ware… And after the adjuster came out to AAMCO.. They didn’t cover anything so that was $3800 out of my pocket! Also I was never able to pass inspection first few months in because of some weird emissions failure. And now a year later as of February 2025. My Engine block busted at 60,000 miles and it would've costed $11,260 to replace it! I called Pristine and once again, they couldn't do anything! I was instructed by the associate to call the coverage which wouldn't benefit me time wise because I desperately needed a car and couldn’t afford to continue wasting time nor rental car money. I had no choice but to trade it in for a new car! $9k w/ 15 months of car payments and Ofcourse maintenance, Premium gas and all down the drain! No way a Subaru should easily go out at 60K Miles! Unless they were unaware of a rebuilt engine from previous owner idk. But this isn’t normal! Selling a lemon for full price is insane!

Update 3/5/24:

I spoke with the owner twice within 2 days (Monday and Today). I believe his name was Will. He was cool on the first call and made the attempt to make it right. He then told me I’d have to reverse the purchase on my new vehicle and tow the WRX to him in order to fix the issue. Nevermind the his associate told me something else! The owner called my bluff simply because he couldn’t find any recordings.. He then called me back 2 days later as of TODAY around 10am and during the 19 min convo. I told him it was too late according to the 3 day policy in PA and instead of raising hand saying there’s nothing he can do.. He started babbling on, getting very rude with me along the call, tried to shift the blame towards me, deny any wrong doing, even doubled down on selling me a lemon.. Best part about it..  He was trying to play victim over the 1 star review but never mind the fact I WAS THE PAYING CUSTOMER WHO PAID $9K ON A DOWNPAY! $3800 clutch job and 15 months of car payments and will have to continue putting up with the remaining balance of $14k.

The owner basically said “TOUGH LUCK! YOUR FAULT, THANKS FOR THE MONEY!” He was very rude, kept cutting me off, raised his voice and pretty much made it clear he won’t do anything about it… I would’ve gladly removed post and forgot this ever happened if he knocked partial off! But he “as I expected” brushed it off,  yell even more and I soon hung up on him realizing we’re weren’t going anywhere! Moral to the story.. Don’t buy from PRISTINE MOTORSPORTS! Associates are fine but their owner Will is a rude venomous snake with ZERO EXPERIENCE with customer service!

You’re already lying in your first paragraph! And I just uploaded the receipt of the clutch issue to prove that I did contact your company! Those 2 times your associates told me to contact the AUL Coverage making it clear there was nothing they could do! I gave you guys chance RIGHT THERE and both times I was given the impression that nothing could be done! Btw, Insurance denied the clutch claim at AMMCO in Broomall, PA so why would I call you guys when y’all stated yall couldn’t do anything?? & I already know the second claim wouldn’t happen because it wasn’t an accident! Then on record you said you couldn’t find any proof I ever contacted y’all. Now you state that you do in your response? You’re a liar and I hope future customers see this and think twice before coming here! Also why aren’t you as rude in your response like you was in that phone call? 🤔
