Description

This exquisite pair of Japanese Satsuma mirror vases features intricate designs of Immortals in the 1000 Faces pattern. There is also a dragon coiled around the body. The vases feature the Shimazu family clan mark and were in the late 19th century during the meiji period. They are approximately 8.5 inches tall and both are in great condition. The vases have a strong connection to Japanese culture and are a testament to the skills and artistry of Japanese craftsmen from a bygone era. Signed by the Artist
