Description

Needs new engine English and spanish Replace the Cylinder Head • This is the proper fix. • You can get a used head from a junkyard, or a remanufactured one online. • Costs: • Used head: $200–$400 • Labor if you pay a shop: $500–$1000+ • If you can do it yourself = just parts cost and your time. 2. Weld the Crack (Maybe) • Sometimes a very small crack in the head (especially around the spark plug hole) can be TIG welded by a machine shop. • After welding, they need to resurface the head so it seals right. • Not all cracks are weldable though — depends where exactly it is. • Costs: • Welding and resurfacing could be $150–$400 depending on the shop. 3. Try a Temporary “Fix” (Not Recommended Long-Term) • Some people try high-temp epoxy or JB Weld around the spark plug hole. • Might hold for a little while but usually fails under heat/pressure. • Only do this if you just need to limp the car to sell it, trade it, or save up for a real repair. Translate that to spanish Esta es la reparación adecuada.
