Description

This is a strange one, sort of a bastardization of the popular GTX Applause/Ovation/Kaman stable. There is not a ton of info out there on these Applause "super" budget strats. As for this one, it plays nicely (I think), disclaimer being that I have never owned a brand new guitar, and mostly play stuff like this (lol). The humbucker doesn't work, has not since I bought it, never got around to replacing it as I was waiting for the one it came with to come available on the used market, I only checked back a couple times. It has a wider neck, I've got actual Vienna sausages for fingers, but the necks feels nice even in my stumps. I have bigger gauge strings on it, I prefer the way they sound on this particular instrument. Other than the humbucker being non-compliant, everything else works well. Neck is straight, action is low, frets look fine to me, but you can inspect for yourself. I am definitely interested in trades. I like oddballs, does not have to be anything fancy, but I try and avoid the typical Squier/Epiphone/Glarry/First Act/department store stuff. I like weird ones, country of manufacture isn't important, really. Currently looking for a Fernandes or a Martin Stinger or something like that.
