Need help with math or science fundamentals? Whether you're in middle school, high school, or just starting college, I’m here to make tough topics feel more manageable at a time that is convenient for you (available on weekends and nights too)! I can offer help in: - Intro-level Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, up to Pre-Calculus) - General & Introductory Chemistry - Environmental/Earth Sciences - Prep for GED or SAT Hi! I’m a college student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Environmental Earth & Soil Science (concentration: Geology) with a minor in Water Science. I graduated as valedictorian from high school, where I took multiple AP and honors courses, and have continued to challenge myself in college—earning a 3.7 GPA and consistently landing on the Dean’s List. I’ve completed a full year of general chemistry and a survey of organic chemistry, in addition to advanced math and science classes including Physics, Calculus, Soil Physics, Geophysics, and more. I’ll be working as a teaching assistant this academic year. I'm passionate about helping students build strong foundations in math and science, especially those preparing to transition into college-level coursework. Each of my sessions are tailored to your needs! We’ll review key concepts, work through practice problems, and focus on building your confidence not just your grades. I'll help you work through homework questions and focus on helping you recognize patterns to better understand recurring themes in math and science. I emphasize a clear work process, help you learn and identify key equations, and solve problems step-by-step. Whether you're prepping for an upcoming test or just trying to catch up in class, my goal is to help you build solid strategies that you can rely on across subjects. I’ve been where you are and I want to help you get through tough classes! I’d love to help - Students who learn better in a one-on-one environment - Middle & high school students needing help with general science or math - GED or SAT prep students focusing on math/science sections - College freshmen or incoming students needing extra prep or review before beginning classes - Anyone who feels "behind" or overwhelmed and wants to catch up
