Description
This is a top-of-the-line, US-made trainer costing about $300 before smart trainers took over the market. Currently on ebay, there are four of these listed, ranging from $88.88 to $265 and one waiting for bids. This is a very well designed and executed product that never gave me any trouble. All necessary adjustments are easily made without tools, but a wrench is mounted securely as shown in the photos. You might need that when originally setting up to fit the distance between your quick-releases or rear axle nuts on your bike. One quick turn of the red-handled lever is all you'll need to do to clamp your bike onto the trainer or release it to ride outside without having to do anything else from then on. Much easier than the same process on a smart trainer. Super stable, and two of the legs are easily adjustable if you happen to set up on an uneven floor. As shown, it folds almost flat, as well. I hate to let this go, but I now have a much more expensive smart trainer, so I'd only ever use this to warm up before a race because although heavily built, it's quite a bit lighter and more convenient than a smart trainer to haul to a race.
