Antique Hunting Dog With Pheasant Sculpture

This is a vintage or antique bronze sculpture of a hunting dog with a pheasant. The sculpture depicts a dog, likely a hound, holding a pheasant in its mouth after a successful hunt. It is approximately 6 inches tall and 12 inches long, based on the tape measure in the image. Similar pieces are often attributed to 19th or early 20th-century French sculptors like Jules Moigniez or Louis-Albert Carvin. The rich coloration is achieved using hand-applied patinas. I purchased this beautiful item at an estate sale. It is quite heavy. I do have two additional hunting dog sculptures I purchased from the same estate sale.
