In the process of buying my daughters first car from them. Right from the start it was an excellent experience. Very professional, friendly and fast. We had a hiccup with our bank and it was no fault of ours or the dealership and they were so  patient and understanding as we worked it out. I have already decided this is where I’ll get my sons first car also. And perhaps my OTHER soon to be driver teens car. They have Lots of cars and prices to choose from! And it’s a family venture so the son is learning the business too! I loved that aspect of it. Really really great experience. Thank you!

I came to Bright Star Motors looking for a car for my family, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the start, they truly listened to all of my concerns and were incredibly patient with me—especially as someone who can be very indecisive. They let me test drive multiple cars without pressure, which really helped me feel confident in my decision.

I’ll admit, I was nervous going into this. It was my first time buying from a dealership after only ever purchasing cars from private sellers. I’d heard all the horror stories about shady dealers, so I came in guarded. But Bright Star Motors completely exceeded my expectations. They answered all my questions, worked with my budget, encouraged me to get a pre-purchase inspection, and even helped coordinate it. They also gave helpful recommendations for anything the car might need.

I’m genuinely wowed by the owner, the staff, and the entire experience. I’m so glad I gave this place a chance—and I absolutely love the car I drove away with. From now on, this is the only dealership I’ll recommend to friends and family.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! My daughter made her 1st big purchase of a car at 18 years old from here within 10 hours of test driving a perfect car to all dash lights and car completely broke down… the owner was great in taking the car to fix it and then bullying my daughter in to paying half to get the car back… the 1st $2000 in cost… a week after getting it back and being a told a full diagnostic on the car was done it broke down again only to find out the dealership was told only to clear the codes and fix just those so another $3000 in repairs and is continuing to have problems the Car was $6200 and we are almost there in repair cost on top of the current loan… Coincidence I think not! Scam scam scam! Also while they make you feel like they are trying to help they trick you into signing paperwork to further protect themselves… don’t fall victim to their auction bought vehicles that haven’t been properly checked out and could end up with a loan and a non running car like my poor daughter! Not a great way to start your adult life all thanks to Bright star motors!

We had a vehicle emergency and had to urgently buy a new vehicle – admittedly the stress of that situation caused us to make decisions out of urgency.  We purchased a Volvo from these guys about a month ago now.  While test driving it there were no emergency lights, the engine ran fine.  We took it on the freeway, side roads. Etc.  It seemed like a solid car.  The first concerning thing happened the same night, three warning lights – that are pretty expensive problems (but should not cause the next issue) popped up on the dash.

We figured out later that there is a button in volvos that turn off the warning/check engine lights on the dash.  As we did not start up the vehicle, the salesman did every time – we believe that he cleared the warning lights before we test drove the car.

Within 72 hours of buying the car, the vehicle began to randomly enter what is called “limp mode” where it drops to 25mph in order to protect the engine.  As we bought the car as-is, we took it to two different volvo mechanics trying to figure out the problem - assuming it would be solvable.  Neither of them can figure out what is causing the issue and both advised us to try to return the vehicle.  We cannot repair it and I cannot drive the vehicle – as if it drops to 25mph randomly in the wrong place, it will kill me.

Naturally, the dealership will not allow us to return the vehicle.

My work is an outreach role, I cannot do my job without a reliable vehicle.  I’m not stuck in a position with a car I cannot trust, that could kill me, I cannot afford to replace the car and its challenging my ability to do my job.

Do not buy a vehicle from these people.  While we made a lot of mistakes in how we tested the car, and there are inherent risks in buying an as-is car - even an as-is vehicle shouldn't try to kill you.  If you buy from them there is a severe chance you’ll end up where I am: Broke, with a car that may kill you if you drive it and your livelihood impacted.

My 15 year old daughter and I were here to look at the 2009 Toyota Camry for its purpose of being her first car. We showed up 30 minutes before closing time and met Pa, the owner. From the beginning of him showing us the car, informing us the brakes needed to be fixed and promising he’ll get them and the rotors replaced prior to finalizing the sale, to us still being able to take it for a test drive, meant I was sold on this little dealership from the beginning. He was so friendly, personable, and honest to work with. We’ve got 4 other children that’ll need cars in the future and I’ll make sure we come back to Bright Star Motors. 100% recommend this place!
