The frame furnishes a tapered head tube for added control and stiffness and internally routed cables offer clean, modern style. The CFR LE utilizes our Scattante Carbon Monocoque Technology, or ScMT. Carbon fiber as a material for product development has long been utilized in the aerospace industry. The material is highly flexible and lightweight, yet is has high tensile strength for incredible durability. Its high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion make it a valuable material for high stress, high performance bike frames. The fork is full carbon; carbon legs and a carbon steerer. That means the ultimate in vibration dampening, handling and control of the bike's front end. Finally, the CFR LE features a super-stealthy matte black and white finish, worthy of displaying proudly at any Sunday morning trip to the coffee shop. The CFR LE is fueled by 11-speed Shimano 105 components. The 105 shifters, working in tandem with the Tektro brake design, allow for a greater level of modulation and power from the tops of the brake hoods, where most people ride a majority of the time. The 11-speed 105 rear derailleur integrates the wide link design prominently featured in both Dura-Ace and Ultegra derailleurs to not only promote quick shifting, but to preserve the pivots for greater durability and long term crisp shifting performance. The CFR LE features a compact FSA Omega crank set and Shimano 105 11/28 cassette.
