Description

Se habla español! Hi, I'm selling my Dewalt pressure washer, since I upgraded to the 4200 PSI model. I purchased this from Home Depot in July 2017 for $862 including tax, and used it on three projects around my house to pressure wash the concrete around my pool, stucco, and car. It has approximately 20 hours of use on it. On September 6th I performed the following maintenance and tune up: 1. Changed the Honda engine oil with 10W-30 oil-it takes 1.1 liters, which is about 37 ounces, or a little over two cups. 2. Installed a new NGK spark plug with anti-seize for easier future removal 3. Cleaned and oiled the air filter. 4. Changed the water pump crankcase oil with 15W-40 oil. It takes about half a quart, or half a liter. I always used Premium gas in this, and ran it to empty when it wouldn't be used for more than a few months, to avoid clogging up the carburetor. I also used Pump Guard in the water inlet, to protect the pump from damage while sitting unused. The motor starts with one pull, and it puts out a *lot* of water power. The washer is obviously in excellent mechanical condition, and in very good cosmetic condition: normal scuffs and scratches from moving it around my yard, which is very easy with the large 13" pneumatic tires. I accidentally rubbed off some of the part number label when cleaning the frame after changing the oil. It's hard for me to see the output difference between this and the larger 4,200 PSI version. You can also adjust the pressure output, by either adjusting the engine speed, or by turning the output regulator on the water pump. Having the infinite adjustability is very nice for softer materials! This pressure washer is manufactured by Simpson (with DeWalt labels), and is identical to the Simpson PS3835. Simpson is one of the largest pressure washer manufactures in the US, and since it has a Honda engine, it will give you many more years of reliable service, and Honda parts are always readily available. This is the DeWalt...
