Overall 9/10 mint condition! Professionally serviced recently! Vintage Technics SL-7 Linear Tracking Turntable with Ortofon TM 14 Cartridge. Stylus is in excellent condition. Manufactured around 1979-1981, this unit is in excellent or better condition all around - fully functional and sounds great. It is very stable in operation and tracks beautifully. Linear tracking eliminates many of the problems with conventional tonearm turntables. There are a few light scratches, but the dust cover is almost mint condition. All four feet are perfect. The two lid catches are present and fully functional. Handles 7-inch, 10-inch or 12-inch vinyl at speeds of 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. Size and speed can be selected automatically or manually. With colored or clear vinyl the automatic selection won't work properly, but works just fine with black vinyl. This is normal for the unit. Must be connected to the phono input (preamplifier) of a vintage receiver or amplifier, a new amplifier with phono input, or a separate phono preamp can be used. This unit is compatible with 120 or 240 VAC operation, 50 or 60 Hz and has an input so that it can be powered by 12VDC. This is a very compact, but heavy, turntable, weighing about 16 pounds.
