Description
This box measures approx. 5" long x 3-3/8" wide x 1-1/8" thick. Opens and closes. A wonderful brass box dating to the beginning of World War I. Decorative brass tins were sent by Princess Mary to members of the British Armed Forces for Christmas 1914. On the top center of the box are the words "Imperium Britannicum". In the center of the box is the head of Princess Mary with "M" on either side. On the top right side is "Russia" and on the left is "France". At the top bottom is "Christmas 1914". Then in the left upper corner is "Belgium" and the top right corner is "Japan". Top bottom corner is "Servia" and top bottom right is "Monte Negro". A really neat collectible item
