Home theater system PHILIPS HTS6500/37 as AUDIO RECEIVER AMPLIFIER

For sale, my used PHILIPS HTS6500/37 DVD home theater system , includes what you see in the picture (complete system) - 1 Philips Home theater Unit console - 1 Remote control - 2 speakers - 1 Subwoofer - Radio Antenna PLEASE READ THIS. IT HAS AN ISSUE. IT ONLY READS CDs (Music). No DVDs. Not sure if it needs a CLEANING job, DVD LENS cleaner , etc... but it started giving me a message "NO DISC" when I insert DVDs of any kind on it. IT tries to read them, but then it shows "NO DISC" in the screen. Music CDs are played perfectly, so the DVD/CD mechanism is not the problem.  Due to that issue, I was using it only to amplify my TV (Roku or Cable top box receiver) AUDIO, taking advantage of its SURROUNDING properties, as ALL THE SPEAKERS AND Sub-woofer WORK PERFECTLY.  So, despite the fact of that DVD reading issue, you may be interested in using it (as I have done lately) as an AUDIO RECEIVER AMPLIFIER for ANY TV, DVD.
