This laptop is completely functional as a desktop or a laptop that is continually plugged into the charger, but there is some sort of malfunction with the motherboard where the battery will not retain charge. If you keep the charger plugged in, it will function completely as normal and you will not notice a single difference. To be clear, the battery must remain unplugged within the laptop or you can take it out of the laptop entirely. I am selling this as more like a gaming PC, as you tend to keep it in one location and will not be gaming out and about.
