Vintage 1952 PORTFOLIO OF HORSES 23 Art Prints Wesley Dennis

Portfolio of Horses is a set of 23 art prints from Album of Horses. The artist is Wesley Dennis, with commentary from Marguerite Henry. This duo has produced some of the most beloved horse books in history, including Misty of Chincoteague and King of the Wind. The Portfolio was printed in 1952, by Rand McNally & Company. Each print is 15 1/2" by 12 1/2", except the print "Mustang". The "Mustang" print has been cut down to 14" by 11". Only the white edge around the print has been cut, the art itself is intact. The paper of the print is marked, with tiny tears, see the pictures for details. A brochure is included with commentary by Henry on each breed in the prints, with a black & white version of each print for reference. Cover is worn, with tears, and writing on front above title. Art is in very good shape, except for the "Mustang" print, which has been cut down and has marks and wear. The remaining art prints have small bent corners and I saw a few faint fingerprints in the whites around some of the art. See photos for details.
