Overview: Up for sale is this a lovely oil painting by listed Brazilian artist, Peter Van Der Auwera. Van Der Auwera was active in the 1950's and 1960's (based on his pieces that have gone to auction). This appears to date to the 1970's or 1980's based on age. It depicts a cottage next to a bridge crossing a river. I love the egret in the river below. a well-executed and beautiful piece. Signed at lower right and framed in a nice wood frame. Undated. Condition: The painting is in excellent condition. Frame shows numerous small dings. Measurements: Painting measures 14 inches wide x 11 inches high. Frame measures 18 inches wide x 15 inches high.
