Description

This KAWAI Digital Piano is a beautiful instrument that has been unused for a number of years. Comes with complete manual, and optional bench (non-matching, seat opens.) Many features on this piano, including weighted keys that make it feel and sound like a standard piano; also lots of options for sound to mimic other instruments. This piano was bought for my kids about 20 years ago from their piano teacher, who was an accomplished pianist. She had paid $3K for it, I assume 25-30 years ago. This piano does need some work. Some of the keys (mostly on the right end of the keyboard) make a ‘clacking’ sound when released. This may be a simple fix (sounds like potentially worn padding within?) but I found it cost-prohibitive to have it looked at, since I don’t even play. Otherwise I don’t see any damage to it, and the sound seems fine. It’s a nice instrument and piece of furniture, but we’ll soon be moving and it doesn’t make sense to keep it.
