Location: Hollywood, FL. A new Pottery Barn loft bed cost around 2600$. The story of the bed: We have bought this beautiful bed from someone else. We were sure that it was a loft bed as per description of the seller but when we have rented a truck and arrived to the seller to pickup the bed, we have found out that they have chopped the “legs” of the loft bed in order to put the house part lower on the floor. My husband has recreated the lower part of the bed so now you can use it not only as a loft but as a bunk bed as well by placing one more mattress on the floor level too. (Please, see the pictures of the bed and its supports/legs). The bed was dark brown. We have painted it green. Right now there is a wooden ladder (like on the first picture), but you can also use a rope ladder (I think we still have it somewhere in the garage and can give it to you as well, if needed). We had enough fun with this bed and are ready for something new. You will need a truck to pick it up. I keep receiving inquiries about the bed, so, it will go to whoever will decide to buy it and organize the pickup first. THE BED IS DISASSEMBLED ALREADY and is ready for pickup! You can decide not to use the lower part at all and just put the house on the floor on short legs. Floor to the upper section floor is 51.5 inches. Floor to the highest point of the bed is about 105 inches
