working 1948 hotpoint refrigerator fridge vintage antique

1948 Hotpoint refrigerator in working condition This antique fridge is a barn find, it looks to have been previously restored on the outside, inside was a mess. I did some major cleanup and cleaned up the wiring a bit. After testing it, loaded it in my truck as I have a lift gate and it will make it easier to transfer it to another truck or trailer. It is currently plugged in and running. It works amazingly well (better than my newer refrigerator), and would make an awesome garage, man cave, hunt camp, themed cabin, themed common room, airbnb, or vintage kitchen refrigerator. Included is a a brand new ONYX stainless steel (18/2) ice tray that I purchased to replace the aluminum tray in a different fridge I was planning on restoring. It will need final restoration: Interior: Second cleaning with a rust stain remover Couple pieces of plastic need to be glued back into place Glass shelf that goes over crisper drawers was broken when i got it, original has been cleaned and saved to get measurements, and the frame for it is currently installed on the fridge for the crisper drawers to work. Missing a couple of shelves, find or fabricate 1948 so you may want to convert to a magnetic gasket and disable to door lock mechanism Exterior: Rust removal and touch up paint Or you can leave it as is. Overall this refrigerator is in amazing condition and I fully expect it to last another 73 years.
