This is a NetGear WiFi Range extender. It's purpose is used to give other rooms or living areas in your home an extend WiFi signal with the ability to connect an ethernet cable directly to it . It will only work and support other rooms with WiFi if you already have existing internet with WiFi . It is a great alternative to a additional router and perfect for getting WiFi to the rooms that are unable to get it now . You can find these at your local Best Buy which is where I purchased it . However , I no longer need it due to me getting personal internet access in my home ,which is very small , so therefore I have no use for this any longer.
