Antique Clambroth Bristol Blown glass ruffled perfume stopper/topper 19th Century RARE When looking close you can see bluish undertones. Small nick in the rim, last photo shows detail. Approx: 4" T x 2" at the top opening weighing 3 ounces. Lovely to add to a Perfume bottle collection and switch up for a decorative Display :) A Bit of History: Clambroth glass, popular in the Victorian era, is a grayish, somewhat opaque glass that resembles the color of clam broth. It was produced in the United States and England, with some pieces dating back to the 1880s, according to Kovels. The glass is often compared to milk glass due to its milky appearance, but it is distinct in color. Clambroth Bristol glass was popular during the Victorian era, which spans from 1837 to 1901.
