Life alert system. Paid $149 on Amazon. My mom used it for two months. This system does not require monitoring or a monthly fee. Big plus in my opinion. ***You must connect to a land line.***. Fairly easy set up. My mom wore the necklace and for some reason the little metal piece rusted. It worked great. You use three phone numbers that it will call in order. I just did mine on all three. It does have a very short recording to announce when the button is pressed. That was the main complaint that I found when researching items for my mom to use. She did smoke in her home.
