This is metamorphic chair based on the original design by Benjamin Franklin. This is hand carved and hand made. If you look at the close ups you can see it was hand cut . If they used a power saw the cut marks would have been circular not straight. The hinges place the age of ww1 and ww2 edge. Sturdy I’m 260 and I can walk up it no worries. I believe from research it’s French hand carved. And sells for 1000 or more I’m asking 200
