Description

I'm a long-time hobby collector of almost 20 years, with many varied collecting interests including art, sports memorabilia, movie/tv props, music memorabilia, historical memorabilia, Disney park items and animation artwork as well. What began as a fun pastime shared with my grandmother has evolved into a collection so extensive that I'm faced with having to downsize in order to have room to store it, lol. ABOUT THIS ITEM: This is a pair of production/screen used silver (plated?) trinket boxes with red velvet lining from the television series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", possibly from scenes within the 'Magic Box' set. Included with this lot is the studio tag with featuring item information on the front and written notes/numbers on the back. Condition is excellent as all prop items are stored safely when not used for display. Please message me with any questions, thanks! ITEM ACQUISITION: This is an answer which varies from item to item. Fortunately 80-85% of the items in our collection includes an original certificate of authenticity (COA) detailing the origin of the item. Most are obtained through various trusted sources including studio/memorabilia auctions, set sales, crew members as well as eBay, estate sales, etc. ADVICE ABOUT COLLECTING: Please let me preface by stating that buying memorabilia collectibles should be approached with caution, especially online. Often I've met sellers here and on eBay with an endless supply of new "screen used" or "authentic" items on a weekly basis, which should raise some red flags. If you're into heavy collecting, it's always best to do your due diligence on items and to speak with the seller to get as much information regarding the lineage and chain of ownership as is available.
