Vintage 60s Lowrey T-1 Suitcase Organ 1964-66

Description

This is a really cool organ that needs a volume pedal in order to hear it. I bought the correct plug and was planning to use an old Hammond pedal (included) wired into it. I’m presently getting my house ready to sell and haven’t had time to work on it. Everything powers up. Willing to deliver depending where you are. The line drawings in the photos are from the service manual that I will include showing the missing volume and foot pedals. The last photo is the connector plug also included. This comes from the same partb of the Lowrey line and the keyboards they made for Gibson under the names G101 and G201 (Lowery T2). The T1 is sort of a scaled down T2. It does have, however, a somewhat richer palette for the lower manual, with four 8' voices and one 4' voice. You can read more below. There were 5 pieces, The Organ (and cable), the powered speaker (and cable), the bass pedals & Volume pedal and the bench. I have everything but the volume and bass pedals. You need the pedals (or at least the volume pedal) to easily link the keyboard to the amp, so I haven't listened to this since the pedals wandered away somewhere. However the organ turns on, the amp turns on. Signs of life are promising but I can't demo it. There forums on line that discuss ways to get around the pedals. Search for Gibson G-101 Lowery T-1. Controls Upper-left bank, Top row: Flute 16', Clarinet 16', Solo 8', Flute 8', Trombone 8', Trumpet 8', Strings 8', Brilliance Normal/Full. Lower-left bank: Top Row: Pedal Soft/Med, Pedal Full, Vibrato Slow/ Fast, Light/Heavy, Off/On Bottom Row: Solo 8', Melodia 8', Diapason 8', String 8', String 4' Lower-right bank: Top Row: Sustain Med, Sustain Long, Staccato Off/On Bottom row: Repeat Rate/Off knob, Percuss Off/On, Manual Attack Normal/Slow The 11 does have the Glide function, but unlike the G101 and G201, it's always on, so there's no separate tab for it. **I accept cash, Venmo, tap by iPhone, and card swipe payments via the Square app.
