Description

For sale is a vintage Realistic STA-800 FM/AM stereo receiver. It has a built in preamp, and fm/am “auto magic” tuning where it will automatically tune to the best frequency (which works surprisingly well). I had it working for a while until about 1-2 weeks ago (before which it sounded fantastic on my smaller advents). At the moment it is not working (sort of). It will “turn on” but it just flickers on and off and doesn’t do nice things to the speakers. Probably a power supply issue, and after looking a bit I found a couple replacement on eBay for ~25-40 bucks and you might be able to find some better deals too. Like I mentioned it sounded great on my smaller advents (4 ohms btw). Just needs a power supply and should be a good vintage receiver! Local only please (poulsbo/silverdale area). 25 obo
