Description

1976 Jensen Ranger 23’ I love this boat so much, but I’m moving and I don’t have a trailer. It’s in Port Royal Marina Redondo Beach. ~$430/month for the slip which you’ll be able to keep if you want. Look up the Ranger 23’ and do some research. They are overbuilt and tough. I sailed it from Redondo Beach to Avalon and to the Isthmus. I sail it multiple times a week and I drop anchor and go surfing off of it often. I have worked on this boat way too much. Dropped the mast and repainted it and checked or changed every bolt and checked the rigging. Every light works and a bunch of new lights were installed by me. All new VHF radio and antenna, steaming light/deck light, anchor light, speakers inside and out, water tank and plumbed toilet with waste tank. Raymarine depth + speed and an old a50 chart plotter. Magma propane grill mounted. I had upholstery redone and there are cushions for the cabin and the cockpit. 50w solar panel, solar charge controller, you won’t need to plug it in if you don’t want. I run a 12v fridge on it now. Two AGM batteries are plenty for day sails and a trip to Catalina. I have a different 5hp outboard that runs good and will come with the boat. I preferred using the mercury outboard in the pictures just because I had it. Main sail is okay no rips, Hank on 90% jib, Hank on ~120% Genoa, Asymmetrical Spinnaker, symmetrical spinnaker. No spinnaker pole. All of the sails you could need. Could use bottom paint at some point, but it is currently cleaned monthly. Shoot me a message if you’re interested. It’s a great boat and it’s going to be hard to let go of.
