Furious!!! Scam!!!

I recently purchased a vehicle on 11/20/24, picked it up on 11/26/24 and drove on the highway for the first time on 12/6/24.

While driving on the highway at highway speed I heard rattling, a loud noise then felt a jolt. I look to my side to see a driver pointing to the front of my car.

I gripped the steering wheel cause it was shaking however it locked up and I was unable to properly steer.

Since the steering column was locked I tried to slow down but the brakes wasn’t working. I continuously applied pressure but car wasn’t slowing down properly.

Once I was able to exit the highway and get to a safe place. I stopped to check and saw the front bumper and undercover completely came off. Both pieces were  laying on the middle of the highway. Thankfully 2 guys saw what happen and was willing to stop and help.

This was not due to an accident or a collision but rather shady business of patching a car up for sale.

Tell me how a crucial part of my car could detach while driving at highway speeds, putting both my safety and the safety of others at risk? What responsibilities are you taking to ensuring that your cars are safe and reliable for all drivers.

We spoke with a Kia dealership mechanic, he stated the front bumper and undercover wasn’t attached and secured with the appropriate hardware for it to detach so easily. How did the car pass inspection to be sold at your dealership?

I expect and demand immediate action regarding this issue.

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment for this dealership. They sold my soldier a Kia Forte that was purchased at a dent and salvage auction for less than $4,000, only to flip it and sell it to him for an outrageous $20,000. This is not just unethical; it is downright predatory.

I have attached photos of the auction and the purchase price as evidence of this appalling practice. When he confronted them with this information, he was met with indifference and the response that there was nothing they could do. This is unacceptable.

It is disheartening to see young, impressionable soldiers being taken advantage of in this manner. They put their lives on the line for our country, and the least they deserve is honesty and fair treatment when making significant purchases like a vehicle.

I urge you to reconsider your business practices and take responsibility for the way you treat your customers. This kind of behavior not only tarnishes your dealership's reputation but also harms the very individuals who serve our nation.

I expect a prompt response addressing this issue and a resolution that reflects the integrity that should be expected from a reputable dealership.

Georgina was super helpful with the car buying process. Came in with a fussy toddler & she didn’t hesitate to make her feel comfortable by putting on cocomelon on their TV. Buying a car can be a stressful process especially when you have a fussy toddler ready to leave. But she made it quick while making sure she explained everything well to us and accommodated to us. All the staff was friendly & welcoming. They have a good selection of cars. Overall happy with our purchase today.
