This one’s rare—an absolutely killer fender special run American Deluxe Strat in one of Fender’s wildest custom colors. It’s a 2000 Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster in a very limited dealer exclusive color way Surf Green-not sure of the exact numbers but there is none that we can find online at the time of this listing. One smoke free owner from new come with the original hardcase and term. The neck is super comfy with Fender’s modern C profile and a rosewood board that’s nice and dark. The frets show only light wear and have tons of life left, they have just been fully dressed. The rear of the neck had some play wear and some dings, nothing can really be felt while playing. She has a nice tight trust rod. Headstock had the usual nicks and dings as to be expected Alder body weighs a nice 8.4lb and is perfectly balanced. There are some light scratches and minor marks throughout, the ones to note are a few scratches on the rear and the chip at the bottom as pictured. I fairly clean for a 24-year-old Strat, and it been used but not abused. The hardware is. Jean as are the plastics. The decals on the controls and the pickups are fading or gone. The mint green pick guard is cool with some light scratches but has aged nicely axe looks great would say it’s a 8/10 for condition
