Vtg. 1980s Tri-Coastal Hat Box Victorian Cat. Design Storage Container Gift Decorative Lidded Box

This large decorative hat box is also suitable to serve as a container for treasured mementos. It is from the 1980’s and measures approximately 12” in diameter x 5” tall. Features a removable lid and a long red colored braided cord which is attached to both sides for easy carrying. Has a beautiful Victorian style design of florals and playful cats and kittens. The colors are mainly light and dark shades of green, pink, blue, red and brown. All colors are blended with various shades of cream and white. This gorgeous design covers all aspects of the box and lid - interiors, exteriors, tops/undersides, sides and rims. The box is made from heavy, sturdy cardboard that has been covered with glossy paper. Matte finish on the interior of both the box and the lid. The underside has the original triangle shaped sticker of black and gold and reads “Tri-Coastal Design New York Made in China.” Both box and top are in excellent condition.
