Aka: Finger Cactus, Fire cactus, Sticks On Fire succulent, Red Pencil Tree, Milk Bush Native to Southern Africa (Madagascar) and East Africa. This plant loves full sun. The tips turn red when exposed to direct sunlight. Its native habitat is the desert; you only need to water it every 2-3 weeks when the soil is completely dry. It can grow up to the ceiling (over decades); so make plans to prune it and, even propagate it (share cuttings with friends), in the future.
