I got a 2013 Chevy equinox 4 months ago to the date. It drove fine and everything seemed fine there. That night I drove and a whole can of worms opened. Every week there was a new problem. They didn’t want to help with anything. I called multiple times. The first time I called within a week asking if I could bring it back because it was not okay for that. I explained that it even shifts gears poorly as an automatic car. The guy who answered the phone said “just put it in manual” I said “manual doesn’t even work the button is literally loose and does nothing” he said “well that’s a new one” and then said he would have the main guy call me. He never did. The warranty also seems so good but in reality it is the opposite. My car was listed at $7,000 for the price and I’ve paid about that much just in fixing it up. Over a four month course and with the warranty covering some of the issues. I even explained to him how important it was to me to get a new car because my grandfather was a mechanic and had recently passed and so I didn’t have him to help me out. I was also paying for the car with money from him. And again the guy new that. I asked many questions including asking if the car was safe and so much more. Please do not go here. I’ve shed so many tears from wasting that money on my first car and it being a car that only cost me time and money. A small list of problems, the exhausted manifold had a crack and i had to get it completely replaced, there’s an oil leak I’ve already had to ad oil in four times, no one can find the cause for these next few things they are just symptoms, car aggressively shaking while stopped or parked, randomly will stop accelerating and I have to pull over and it dies for a couple seconds then I can turn it back on, so many unknown noises like knocking, whining, humming, ticking, etc. the air flow thing is so stupid I literally will turn it to 0 and it goes all the way up while it’s still set at 0. It creaks while being parked or on the breaks. It is just so horrible. Please do not get a car here unless you are specifically wanting a project car.

I was trying to buy a car from them, but they stopped responding to my emails when I asked reasonable questions about an AC repair and getting a copy of the car fax. Then a bunch of other people told me they get their cars from auction and don't really vet them properly. I think if you have the means to finance, it's probably better you go somewhere else.

I am a happy man after buying my first car from Car King! I now have had it for two months and was a little worried that once it got cold out I might run into some problems! I went out on Monday to see how my new Chrysler 300 2016 would start especially the battery and tubeup that came with my New Car and it started right up and I have not had one problem with my car! If I ever do need a new car at my age of seventy hoping this would be my last! I most definitely will be back to Car King once again for their great looking cars and service!

Told me the back shock needed to be replaced..turned out all of the suspension components needed to be replaced along with the bushings and I was told that was the only thing wrong with the car...turned out to be more wrong with the car...they always say they been 60 years in buisness as if longevity means integrity for the cars...
