Selling a surplus 1944 stamped and issued Trench shovel with its original canvas issued spade cover. Genuine WWII US Army M1943 folding shovel, manufactured by Wood and dated 1944. Comes in its original first type canvas carrier, manufactured by Hinson Mfg. Co. and dated 1943. Intended for being attached onto the M1936 belt, M1928 haversack, or assault jacket. Usmc USA issued and theatre used in front line service. Still excellent condition all around. Great to have for emergency use in car trunk or truck. Very tough and has many years left in it. Excellent condition and great tool that's also compact .
