The Gibson EB Bass, also known as the EB 13, is a 4-string electric bass guitar that was produced by Gibson from 2013 to around 2018 or 2019. It was made in the United States. 2013 Gibson EB13 Sunburst - BassBros Key features Body: The EB 13 has a solid ash body in a double cutaway design. The finish is a nitrocellulose lacquer, often described as a grain-textured satin finish. Neck: It features a set maple neck with a rounded profile, and a rosewood fingerboard. The scale length is 34 inches, with 20 medium jumbo frets. Pickups and electronics: The bass is equipped with two newly designed passive humbucking pickups designed by Jim DeCola, Gibson's luthier. These pickups feature Alnico V rod magnets and are coil-tappable. Each pickup has its own volume control, and there's a master tone control. Pulling out a volume knob activates the coil tap, providing a single-coil tone.
