METABO W8-115 QUICK 4-1/2" ANGLE GRINDER - 10,000 RPM

Never used commercially. I’ve heard from fabricators that Metabo is about the only brand that just refuses to die in commercial use (see countless Amazon reviews). I rarely use a grinder, so I’d like to replace this with cordless Milwaukee for increased convenience because I really don’t need run time or German quality for a grinder… generally I’m making a slight modification to a part or doing one quick cut. I don’t even own a welder, so that should tell you how many miles are on this tool. Made in Germany. 8 Amps with the upgraded toolless quick nut for changing discs. The spark guard has never been used, but I have it (not pictured). I also have a commercial grade CS Unitec Varilex 1800 variable speed grinder I might be willing to part with, but that is also low miles and I think I paid around $500+ for that one, so I’d want at least $300 for the Varilex (which does have the guard). The Varilex I use almost exclusively as a dedicated lawnmower blade sharpener so that gets used about 6 times a year, but it is a joy to use when I use it! LOL. I did have a variable speed commercial use in mind which justified the premium price tag when I bought it but I ended up finding a different process that worked better. The Varilex has an ergonomic handle design and I believe is made in either Czech Republic or Germany. See my other items to quickly jump to the Varilex listing.
